Activists in Portland will join a nationwide day of action Thursday, April 4 in response to Attorney General Bill Barr’s failure to release the Mueller report and underlying evidence to Congress by the April 2 deadline set by six House Committee Chairs. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at North Waterfront Park at SW Ankeny St.

Demonstrators are calling on Attorney General Bill Barr to #ReleaseTheReport. The nationwide day of action is being organized by a coalition of hundreds of public interest organizations. More information can be found at TrumpIsNotAboveTheLaw.org.

Speakers at the Portland event will include Kate Titus of Common Cause Oregon, Mat dos Santos of ACLU Oregon, Indivisible representatives and elected officials.
